Qutb Minar
The construction of Qutb Minar was started by Qutb ud din Aibak, the first sultan among Delhi Sultan's Mamluk dynasty.
Qutb minar was constructed in the memory of sufi guru Qutb ud din Bhaktiyar kaki.
It is also known as Manar-e-Shamsi.
The constrction of Qutb Minar was conpleted by Iltutmish.
It was struck by lightening and repaired by Balban.
