1857 REVOLT AND THE EYE WITNESSES

Delhi	Munshi Jiwan Lal, Moinuddin
Bareilly	Om Prasad bandhopadyaya
Binjore	Sir Sayed Ahmad Khan.

Mirza Galib, eminent Urdu poet, mentioned in his letters the cruelty of British during the suppression of the revolt.
Sir Sayed Ahmad Khan wrote a book named Asbab-i-Bagabat-i-Hind” in Urdu on the causes of the revolt.
