What are the sources to construct the history of Qutb Shahis

What are the sources to construct the history of Qutb Shahis As the Sultans of Golconda, Qutbshahis ruled from 1518 CE to 1687 CE. Qutbshahis were great rulers. They belonged to Shia sect of Islam. Totally eight Qutb Shahi rulers ruled for 177 years.
  1. Sultan Quli Qutb-ul-Mulk (1512–1543)
  2. Jamsheed Quli Qutb Shah (1543–1550)
  3. Subhan Quli Qutb Shah (1550)
  4. Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah (1550–1580)
  5. Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah (1580–1612)
  6. Sultan Muhammad Qutb Shah (1612–1626)
  7. Abdullah Qutb Shah (1626–1672)
  8. Abul Hasan Tana Shah (1672–1689)
Along with the territorial expansion Qutb Shahi rulers provided good administration to their subjects, patronized arts and letters. Qutb Shahi rulers patronized poets of Telugu, Arab, Urdu, and Persian languages. Sources: Mohammad Bin Khasim Ferishta gave some details of Qutbshahi kingdom in his work ‘Tariq e Ferishta’ or ‘Ibhrahim e Gulshan’, written in Persian language. He called Telangana as ‘Telangan’. Ferishta was born in 1552, in Iran. He joined in the service of Ibrahim Adilshah of Bijapur. Ferishta dedicated all his works ot Ibrahim Adilshah. Khafi Khan was contemporary to Mughal Emperor Aurangazeb, who put an end to Qutb Shahi Empire. Khafi Khan in his work, ‘Muntaqab ul Lubab’ clearly explained how Aurangazeb captured Golconda fort. Amir Khusru, who was praised as the parrot of India and who had seen the rule of 7 Delhi Sultans authored many books. In his works ‘Qazain ul Futuh’, and ‘Nuh Siphur’ Amir Khusru gave details about Qutb Shahi Empire. These books give details about the social condition in Deccan during 14th century.
