Simuka Srimukha Chimuka
Srimukha ruled between - 231 BC - 208 BC
Simuka - Founder of Satavahana Dynasty. His coins are fount at Kotilingala in Kareemnagar, Telangana, India.
Samrat Asoka maurya honoured Simuka with the title 'Raya'. (D.C.Sarkar)
Asoka mentioned Srimukha as 'Satyaputra' in his inscriptions.
In these coins he was mentioned as Chimuka.
His capital was Prathishtana Pura (Paitan). His (fore) father Satavahana's coins were found in Kondapur (Near Hyderabad Central University), Medak, Telangana, India.
Matrimonial alliances with Ratarikas. Satakarni -I, son of Simuka, married Naganika who belongs to Ratarika tribe.
Initially Simukha followed Jainism and later he started believing in Vedic Religion.
Ranagobhadra, Ranagoswami were the names of coins issued by Simuka.
