Khan He began his career as a servant of Bairam
Khan,
but soon
joined the anti-Bairam faction. His aroogant behavior with his former master is
said to be partly responsible for the revolt of Bairam. After
Bairam’s
fall, he occupied some important positions and was drowned when
ecrossing
the Narmada after his aborted attempt to apture Khandesh (1562).
