Rahmat Ali
Chaudhury An Indian Muslim studying at Cambridge, he
coined the
term ‘Pakistan’ in 1933. It was a development of Iqbal’s
conception
of a union of Indian provinces with a majority of Muslims in their
population.
The idea was later taken up by Jinnah who made Pakistan a
reality.
