Mihirakula The son and successor of the Huna King, Toramana, who ruled
over on
extensive dominion comprising a large part of the western frontiers
of the
Gupta empire and central Malwa in the last quarter of the fifth century
ad.
Ascending the throne around ad 500, he had Sakala (Sialkot) in the Punjab as
his capital. In about ad 528 he was defeated and driven out of his
kingdom by
a combination of Baladitya (king of Magadha) and Yasovarman
(king or
Mandasor).
